Public Works Facility Bylaw Authorization

March 10, 2016

The City plans to adopt City of Quesnel Public Works Loan Authorization Bylaw No. 1786 of 2016, permitting the City to borrow up to $10,000,000 to construct a new PW facility. Residents OPPOSED to the loan authorization may vote during the alternative approval process – votes are due April 4, 2016. If more than 10% of electors oppose the bylaw, it cannot be adopted without a referendum.

Deadline for Bargaining Proposals!

Don’t forget to hand in your bargaining proposal forms to your steward or any executive member! The deadline is Monday, February 29th – this will give the committee time to review proposals for presentation at the March General Membership meeting. Get a copy of the form here.
